GRAND LAKE YACHT CLUB |
Legacy Junior Membership Program
Regardless of sailing commitment or not (with the caveat that if a junior does plan to sail it's a requirement) We want to engage the next generation of members through a graduated dues structure and early integration into the club community. This policy targets family members of existing members, starting at age 21 and continuing through age 29, after which junior members transition seamlessly into full adult membership.
Rationale
· Encourages multi-generational engagement and loyalty.
· Provides an affordable entry point for young adults at the start of their careers.
· Promotes continuity and growth of the club’s membership base.
· Builds future leadership and community involvement organically.
Eligibility
· Open to children or legal dependents of current members in good standing.
· Must be at least 21 years of age to enroll.
· Junior membership remains in effect through the calendar year in which the member turns 29.
Member Rights & Privileges
· Legacy Junior Members enjoy standard access to club amenities, events, and member communications.
