GLYC Sailing School Launches an Extended Season:

Because we can’t get enough of summer days on the water in beautiful Grand Lake with students learning to trim the sails and steer their boats, we have added a fifth week to the program. Please note that week one is the last week of June with week 5 being right before Regatta Week.

General Information:

Students age 7-17

Hours: 10 am – 4:00 pm at the Grand Lake Yacht Club

No sailing experience is necessary, the program is for all levels

Awards BBQ for families on the last day of each session

Kindersail:

Available from 8-10 am every morning that Sailing School is in session. No registration is required for this drop-in program designed for children between the ages of 3-6 ($30 a day)

Staff:

We have a terrific, experienced and enthusiastic group of instructors, many with US Sailing Level 1 Small Boat Instructor Certification. The team is led this year by head instructors Caroline (CC) Capra, Nina Lubchenco, and Annie DeAlessi.

Fees and Registration:

Online registration opens for members’ children and grandchildren on Monday, February 13 at 9:00 am.
Member pricing is $375/week valid through March 12
Registration opens for non-members on Monday morning, March 13 when the tuition for all registrations increases to $450/week.
Each session is limited to 45 students. Please register early.
Cancellation policy: Refunds subject to a $25 processing fee. Cancellations within two weeks of the session will receive a 50% refund.
